New Tricks returns with record audience

Returning to BBC One at 9pm on Monday 5 July, New Tricks witnessed its largest audience for the past three years.  Scooping a massive 8.3 million viewers, the hugely popular crime drama stole the show in the audience wars, becoming the most watched show of the evening.

The opening episode saw the famous team opening the files on the death of a senior palaeontologist at the Natural History Musuem.
