BBC2 in the UK has commissioned a second series of Wall to Wall’s factual personal genealogical format Who Do You Think You Are? with a raft of new celebs lined up to explore their ancestry.

The series will arrive on BBC2 next year, with Stephen Fry, Jane Horrocks, Jeremy Paxman, Julian Clary, Gurinder Chadha, director of Bend it Like Beckham, and Sheila Hancock tracing their family histories.

The show previously gave BBC2 its highest-rated factual entertainment show of 2004, with a peak of 5.8 million viewers and a 23.8% share.  The format has also been sold to territories including Germany, Poland, Sweden, Australia, France, Italy, Spain and Canada.
