Casting details

CASTING UPDATE:

We are extending our deadline to midnight on Sunday 19th April 2020, to ensure everyone has enough time to apply.

COVID-19 Notice

As a company and a production team we are following all current and ongoing guidance. Although the show is currently scheduled as a Summer 2020 project, we are aware that the recording dates may have to change, as we follow advice as to when it is safe to travel. Meanwhile, we are still looking for parents and children who are interested in taking part in the series so that we can plan ahead. We hope that this may also give parents and children something fun to look forward to and take part in later in the year.

Please note, we are conducting all forms of auditions remotely via Skype or FaceTime - whatever is most convenient for our applicants.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN

We are looking for teams of 3 children aged 10-12 – friends, classmates, family members – who think they have the right stuff to take part in an exciting competition. In this series, each team participates as junior trainee cadets in a selection of physical and mental challenges based on the thrilling world of astronaut training. They will compete in a variety of individual and team games – some high off the ground, some underwater, some on dry land - with the hope of winning a remarkable space prize package.

Does your child love an adventure packed with challenges?

This Program could be for them!

Does your child have an interest in astronomy or space travel?

This Program could be for them!

Are you and your child happy to travel abroad?

This Program could be for you!

HOW TO APPLY - SIX SMALL STEPS

STEP 1:

A parent/legal guardian must complete the application for this Program on behalf of their minor child as we will not accept applications from minors. Applicants must be between 10 and 12 years old on July 15, 2020.  Please see the Eligibility Requirements - which are different for U.S./Canada and non-U.S./Canada residence - outlined below for additional eligibility criteria.

STEP 2:

Identify your child’s other two (2) team members. They could be friends or classmates or family – as long as the team members all know each other well.  Some of the games will be played high off the ground and some underwater, meaning all team members should feel confident to take on these kind of challenges. Also, the Program is recorded in English so team members must be proficient in the English language.

STEP 3:

Check that all three (3) team members meet the Eligibility Requirements outlined below and that each team member’s parent(s)/legal guardian(s) completes an application on behalf of their child.

STEP 4:

The children should choose a memorable and distinctive name for the team e.g. “London Space Pirates”, “Venus Rocket Girls”, “The Intergalactic Explorers”, which each of their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) will need to include on their respective application forms.

STEP 5:

One parent/legal guardian, with advance consent from each of the team member’s parent(s)/legal guardian(s), should record a short video, no longer than 2 minutes in duration, featuring all 3 team members and submit as part of their application form.

*Please note, if it is not advisable to get all three team members together we are happy to receive a video from each individual team member or a recorded group video call, where everyone has dialed in separately.

If you are submitting a video of an individual team member, please ensure that at the start of the video your child introduces themselves and explains why they are part of the dream team.  Please upload the video onto the application for your child.

STEP 6:

Complete the online application. A parent/legal guardian for each team member must submit an application form on the applicant’s behalf and each application MUST include the team name and first names of all three (3) team members (that way, when we receive the forms, we can pull together all the team information and keep it in one place). Please note applications will not be viewed and/or considered until we have received all 3 team member applications.
