Wall to Wall Media is bringing the hit U.S. quiz show 500 Questions to the UK, with a series of four episodes coming to primetime ITV in 2016.

500 Questions is the ultimate battle of the brains, with some of the smartest people in the country facing some of the toughest questions ever devised for television. Intellect, strategy and stamina are all essential in order to win. There are no saves, no helps, no multiple-choice and only one simple rule: never get three wrong in a row.

Leanne Klein, Wall To Wall's CEO, says “There was a big buzz around 500 Questions when it aired in the USA this year. I can’t wait to bring television's toughest quiz to the UK”

Asif Zubairy, Commissioning Editor, Entertainment, ITV, adds "500 Questions is an edge-of-the-seat quiz show and an exciting addition to the ITV entertainment slate"

500 Questions was created for U.S network ABC by Mike Darnell, President, Warner Bros. Unscripted and Alternative Television (The Voice, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette), with Emmy winning executive producer Mark Burnett (Shark Tank, Survivor, The Voice). In the UK it will be Exec Produced by Moira Ross, Head of Entertainment, Wall to Wall and series produced by Laura Turner.

The show launched on ABC in the US as a multi-night primetime event in May 2015, with the Thursday telecasts delivering ABC’s best post-season summer ratings in the timeslot since May 2013 among Total Viewers and since September 2013 among Adults 18-49. Earlier this year the show was commissioned by RTL Germany for its first international version and in October it was announced it would be returning to American screens for a second series on ABC.

500 Questions is distributed globally by Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution, with format sales handled by Warner Bros. International Television Production.
