Wall to Wall has appointed Lucy Bacon as Head of Factual Development.

Previously at the BBC’s in-house Development Central Unit, Bacon was second-in-command first to Ana de Moraes and latterly to Damon Pattison. She is charged with further generating and developing projects across the Wall to Wall’s factual slate spanning factual entertainment, features, specialist factual and documentaries.

Lucy said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Wall to Wall and really looking forward to creating bold and ambitious projects to add to their already impressive slate“

Director of Development, Gavin Rota, commented:  “We’ve enjoyed a great year in the UK and are really excited that Lucy is joining us to build on that success.  She’s got just the right mix to help sustain and refresh our current brands but also to bring our distinctive take on programming to an even wider range of genres.”

Lucy started at the company in September 2016, and Rob White who joined from Plum Pictures in 2015, moves across to work with Head of International, Jeremy Dear, with a specific focus on expansion in the US market where Wall to Wall already works with customers such as National Geographic, PBS and Discovery.
