Former head of drama at Headstrong Myar Craig-Brown, whose credits include Sky’s The Psychopath Next Door and Holby City, has joined as a drama executive producer while Ben Evans has joined the team as a drama development executive.

Craig-Brown, who also executive produced New Tricks, will work alongside fellow executive producer Eleanor Greene and will report to chief executive Leanne Klein.

Klein complimented Craig-Brown’s “incredible track record making long-running drama and fantastic writer relationships.”

Meanwhile, Evans most recently produced Wall to Wall’s upcoming BBC1 drama hybrid Six Wives with Lucy Worsley. He will report to Greene and Craig-Brown.

His previous credits include Kenneth Williams: Fantabulosa! and The Curse of Steptoe.

Klein described Evans as “a brilliant fit with his background in factually-based drama.”

She added: “These hires are really exciting developments as we continue our expansion in scripted. We’re at the top of our game as popular storytellers and we’re now going to harness all that power into our dramas.”
