ITV have commissioned Wall to Wall’s (a Shed Media company) tear-jerking factual series, Long Lost Family for a fourth series. The commission follows the show’s strongest launch to date – 5.6 million viewers, based on consolidated overnights.

The series, which has just finished its third run, averaged a live overnight audience of 5.2 million viewers/a 24% share of viewing, making it the highest rating series yet.

Since its launch, Long Lost Family has consistently won its prime time weekday 9pm slot.  The first series averaged a consolidated audience of 5 millions viewers, series two averaging 5.15 million and series three has leaped to an average audience of 5.9 million so far, based on consolidated data.

Commissioned for 8x60’ episodes, series four will see Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell return to their roles of reuniting family members who have been separated for most of their lives.

"Long Lost Family is based on the format 'Spoorloos' devised by Dutch public broadcaster KRO, and distributed by Absolutely Independent, The Netherlands under the name "Find My Family".
