Tom Sherry has joined Wall to Wall as Head of Drama, having been with the company as a freelancer for two years running New Tricks, the hit BBC1 drama.  Sherry – who previously worked for Red Productions and Tiger Aspect – will continue to oversee the 7 million rating cop show’s fourth series while also driving the company’s drama development slate.  Wall to Wall already has several drama projects – including two primetime series pilots – in development.

Sherry's appointment - together with the recent appointment of Daniela Neumann as head of Factual Entertainment and Features - completes what CEO Alex Graham described as "the outstanding creative team in British television”.

Sherry and Neumann join the Creative Board alongside Head of Factual Leanne Klein who will continue to build on the company's reputation for quality, innovative programming across a range of genres.  Deputy CEO and Head of International Production Jonathan Hewes will spearhead the company's business in the US, Europe and beyond and grow the global brand which recently led Wall to Wall to be named one of the seven most creative producers in the world.  Graham and Head of Development Gavin Rota complete the line-up.

Alex Graham said: "For many years now the creative leadership of Jonathan, Leanne and Gavin has helped build us into one of the best producers in the world.  These new appointments will allow us to broaden the range of programmes we make and customers we work for.  I believe this is now the outstanding creative team in UK television and will set a benchmark for other companies."

Sherry added “It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop what has already been a very happy relationship.  With their experience of producing high end dramas, intelligent drama documentaries and quality factual programmes, Wall to Wall are uniquely placed to deliver, fresh, original and cost-effective drama.”
