Are you working in TV at Researcher or AP level?
Alternatively, have you got at least two years’ experience in a creative industry with a passion for ideas and writing?
Warner Bros. Television Production UK Ltd – comprising of Wall to Wall, TwentyTwenty, Ricochet, Renegade Pictures, Watershed, Headstrong & Yalli Productions – is launching an exciting new free course for 2015, to identify and cultivate the best TV development talent from across the UK.
The WBTVPUK Group is a leading producer of successful, long-running television series across all genres, including factual entertainment, features, documentary, drama, comedy and entertainment. We know just how important development skills are to the television industry and yet how little training is available. This course is designed to help bring on the next generation of talented factual development producers.
The course will begin in February 2015 and will be designed and delivered by leading industry specialists who will cover key aspects of non-scripted TV development – including unleashing creativity, innovation, developing on screen talent, writing, producing visual proposals, and pitching.
This is a part time course that will take place on a combination of Thursday evenings (7-9pm) and Saturdays (10.15am-3pm) across a five week period and will require you to do some work in your own time. Sessions will include master classes, group work and individual pitching.
The course is free but has limited places. Successful candidates will be selected by senior executives from WBTVPUK.
If you love telly, enjoy coming up with ideas, and have a passion for research and writing, then send us your CV, along with a covering letter and a one page proposal for an original non-scripted TV programme.
