Last night the first episode of Wall to Wall South’s The World’s Most Extreme Dream Homes aired on BBC Two, becoming the most watched programme on the Channel that evening.

The programme sees actress and property enthusiast Caroline Quentin and award-winning architect Piers Taylor explore four extraordinary homes built in Mountain, Forest, Coast and Underground locations around the world.

Highlights from the first Mountain episode included a Californian mansion made from the wing of a Boeing 747 and an ‘origami-inspired’ home overlooking New Zealand’s Lake Wanaka.

Watch the next episode Friday the 13th of January, 9pm on BBC Two.
